The cropping, your expression, the lighting, your makeup, skin tone, the expression in your hand/fingers, your hair style and wardrobe. The entire image works within itself, and thus, to the eye and the viewer's emotion. This is very well done. (if it is a candid shot or staged, is of no matter... it is very good.)
