Man, I cannot wait to see New York for the first time and to work with you Michael. This photo is incredible. I hear the streets are perfectly parallel. Amazing shot!

Made me think of this:

Manhattanhenge Returns! The Day When The Sunset is Exactly Aligned with The Grid When: Wed, Jul 13 at 7:00PM -
Wed, Jul 13 at 9:00PM

Manhattanhenge happens just twice a year; where the sunset is exactly aligned with the grid of streets in Manhattan. One of the special days this year is Wednesday July 13 and during sunset you will able to see a radiant glow of light across Manhattan's brick and steel canyons, simultaneously illuminating both the north and south sides of every cross street of the borough's grid. A rare and beautiful sight.

---I noticed the sun setting over Houston, but I was caught up in the hustle & bustle & didn't get to relish in it... what a remarkable photograph though. Truly splendid. Wasn't sure if you'd heard of ManhattanHenge before...
