October 25, 2008 7:08pm It's difficult to make my usual "great shot" type of comments on your work. All of your work is beyond interesting and each image tells a story. This one is no exception. It caught my eye and held my attention, and I'm not even sure why.
This image is fantastic. I adore the vulnerability of her pose. She is equal parts proud, uncertain, stubborn and shy. The background tells a story that can be interpreted in many ways. There is an element of danger and exposure. She has an instinct to hide, but knows she must not. She portrays a plethora of emotions through her posture, facial expression and overall emotion. She is vibrant and secluded all at the same time.
