I'm a very ambitious, hard working man who wants more out of life than simply working a nine to five job. I have been told my whole life that I'm an extremely determined person, and that I achieve whatever I set my mind to. I welcome constructive criticism and I'm not afraid to fail. I was selected to be in an international Bushmill's advertising campaign as a featured face, where I was blessed with the opportunity to go to Belfast, Ireland; an experience I will never forget.
Most recently, I walked the runway for designers Ean Williams for Corjor International Couture, designers from the Ukraine and Nigeria in DC Fashion Week, My other runway shows include designers Steven Wall for Nevetes Couture and designer Adrianna Marie for her Frequency line (Dec 2011-2013), Designer Bradley Douglas Jordan (2014 BKFW), and april Walker for Walker Wear
As far as my acting career is concerned I've been featured on network TV shows such Deadly Affairs hosted by Susan Lucci for the Discovery I.D channel, The Carrie Diaries, Law and Order SVU (NBC network), "Unfaithful" on Oprah's Winfrey's OWN network "Deceived" on TV one network, "Brain games" on Nat Geo Channel and the list goes on. You can catch me on a few commercials every now and then when flipping through the TV channels. I've done promo spots on Good Morning America, The Jimmy Kimmel show, a Charter Cable commercial, & VH-1 Big Morning Buzz Live. I was also recently featured in a dating segment of the Steve Harvey show as bachelor #3. I have 3 romance novel book covers under my belt so far and a spread in the March 2014 issue of Designer Original Magazine. I have a solid future ahead of me and I'm consistently discovering ways to better myself physically and mentally as my career grows.
My goals of being in national and international campaigns print and runway are coming. I believe in my ability. I've walked in major runway shows and small ones and regardless of the show caliber, I approach each opportunity with the same amount of respect and professionalism. I'm climbing to the top and like my grandfather once told me,
"Do every little thing you can to get to where you want to be without compromising your integrity. People will tell you anything but you do what's best for Rico and you'll be fine."
