Background
I am based in Edinburgh (willing to travel to most parts of Central Scotland and the Borders for shoots) and my background in photography is mainly artistic (horror/SFX/conceptual) and portraiture-related.
Ethos
Art has been my passion for as long as I can remember and it's still the most important thing to me when I'm working. All photography should be artistic and memorable, whether it's for a magazine cover, a romantic couple portrait or a model's portfolio.
Style
I am passionate about the unusual and unconventional and mostly work in the fields of alternative lifestyles/fashion (gothic, rock, metal, industrial, club, psychadelic, body art/modification, fetish, alt pin-up, alt fashion, alt music promotion etc). I don't work to formulas or shoot insert-genre-here photography. Every client, project and image is given individual consideration.
About Photoshop
You are already beautiful. Your beauty can be enhanced with make-up and lighting but it goes against everything I believe about the deliciousness of human appearances to excessively digitally edit your face and remove all character in an attempt to iron out 'flaws'. Your individual quirks and unique features are what makes you YOU, and I would never try (or want) to erase your personality from your face.

Shoot location
My studio is 5 minutes from the centre of Edinburgh. It's on a main road with frequent buses and has parking, toilets and kitchen facilities.
I can also shoot on location and I have a complete portable studio which can be set up in my own home or can travel with me anywhere allowing studio-style and studio-standard shots in just about anywhere there's a plug in the wall.
If you're more comfortable shooting in your own home (great for portrait clients and models who are just starting out), me and my gear can come to you. Creating amazing images requires everyone involved feeling comfortable with their surroundings.

I am NOT currently taking bookings for TFP shoots (apart from those relating to specific casting calls) so please do not contact me asking for TFP, especially if I don't know you.
I will shoot sets for submission to most modelling/glamour/fetish sites but I do not shoot for Suicide Girls. Not ever. So don't ask.
