About MeI'm an old school photographer from back in the days of film, and I still rock developer from time to time. I also am a photojournalist for the US Army, so my spare time is where I get to shoot what I want...somewhat. I do advertising for a motorcycle shop and I do most the of the PR as well. One thing that has always gone well for the shop is hard steel and beautiful women. Our ads are through various internet channels, but we do print in a free publication known as "Full Throttle of the Carolinas." We are considered a highlight in the magazine for the many ads we produce monthly that have both a visual and comedic (satiric sometimes) tones. Not a day goes by when I am in the shop when I am asked about "when are we going to have another shoot?" It is a family friendly shop, so nothing goes too far out there, and most teasers are suggestive at the worst. There are some compensations by the guys at the shots, but many we will do prints and dup off a DVD with your material. We are getting set to do a few commercials for the expansion that will be web aired, and regional TV service airings (RDU and FAY areas). I am old school and will bring out the 'Blad occasionally, but I shoot much more digital today. I use both Canon and Nikon bodies and shoot in the shop, outdoors, or at super secret locations (not really, but I like to think so.) My own portfolio runs the gambit as far as work done, but I am very deeply rooted now in the niche motorcycle market. I do work with a clothing designer, some tattoo artists, and a jewelry designer on a frequent basis and am always looking for different and fresh faces. If I tell you that I can work with just about anyone, it is true. I do all my own postwork and touching, and I usually have a small crew for shoots. I do not usually hire a make-up/hair stylist for shoots (very, very rare), but I do most of the makeup and fixes on set. That being said, if you work with me, bring your own stuff. I have community make-up (I do alcohol everything thing down) but eye stuff is just different. You already know your tones, and I can work a look in based on the pre-shoot information. I never work alone, as there are always a bevy of people moving about. I enjoy a full set because you never know who you might use for what. If you need shots for a ZED, I can help. Many times after the ads get out, I will get a few hits on each model from other businesses and area attractions looking for some contact info. If you didn't sign the paperwork to release to them, I won't do it. If you need help or wanna ask questions, don't hesitate to contact me.
