About MeI will do no shoot that I wouldn't be proud to show the end results to my mother, grandma, and little brother (that means no nudes) I am interested mainly in classy shoots (commercial, high fashion, etc.) ones to accent my girly side, or getting down in the beauty nature offers, or anything involving my main love: art and fashion.
My goal on this site is to connect with other artists to create images that will benefit everyone involved. A photograph that will capture every aspect of the viewer’s attention, something that they just cannot look away from.
I am willing to do time for print if I do not have to travel an extreme length and (as bad as it may sound) it benefits me. I will go the distance for someone willing to do the same to work with me. Although I am no longer interested in doing TF in lingerie, because I am picky about the way it must be done.
I love meeting new people and am very laid back, great sense of humor. There is never a dull moment when shooting with me.
Thanks so much for taking the time out of your day to check out what I'm about, and I hope you will also view my always improving portfolio while you’re at it!
If you are interested in working with me just shoot me a message! :D
I never was the one of the popular girls, and they always thought I was “weird” and a “freak” wearing my high heels, pearl necklaces, and band tees. I didn’t care much what anyone thought, I had my own style, and like it or not, it’s mine. I wore my own version of what I saw in Vogue. I didn’t strive to be popular, because I was wise beyond my years. I knew high school cliques weren’t at all relevant in the real world. I had been through things they hadn’t even heard of, dealt with (more than) my fair share of life, and actually valued money so young. Maybe not the most ideal conditions for a kid that age, I just call it an early start. I started a recycling club/green team in my high school. I have always cared about the Earth, and keeping it and every living creature that inhabits it healthy. The outdoors is where I feel most comfortable; it’s so beautiful connecting with nature, just a beautiful feeling. Being raised in the country, and regularly attending Girl Scouts (which I finished off with the Gold Award before graduation) proved me as a reliable, hard worker at my first interview as I nervously shook the hand of a nice little old lady who had just gave me my first job. I began working part time at a beautiful park as a lifeguard shortly before my 15th birthday; the view from the chair was something else, I could see the whole town of Moundsville!
Such a little town, in a valley, but there seemed to be WAY too little people who cared. I would volunteer at the local animal shelter, pick up trash along the riverside, collect old cans from the creek banks on the weekends, then school and work throughout the week. I thought about what I wanted to do while I sat there baking in the sun. I need more than this small town in my young but ambitious life! I have always been a tomboy with style from a single mom and grandmother who dressed their little girl as a Barbie, and the older I grew the more I longed to be like one of those girls you see frolicking inside the magical lands of the fashion magazines. I got about 5 different magazines in the mail every week to read while I worked on my tan and protected the citizens swimming at Grand Vue Park. I would imagine myself in there instead of my seemingly perfect role models in the photos.(I would sometimes make collages from them after getting the new ones, hang them on my bedroom wall and wish as hard as I could)Striking a pose every time I passed a mirror, strutting my runway walk as I did pool checks, and figured out how to make my body look as good as possible laying there with all my sunscreen watching water drip from my greasy skin wishing someone was taking my picture.
Since those days, they tore the old waterslide that killed a few kids down, and completely remodeled the pool area. Where my tall, proud chair used to stand there is just this silly looking flower spraying water for kids to play in. It’s a bit sad to see, but the memories will last a lifetime. Come to think of it: I, too, have changed! I’ve learned very much and came so far through the years. I worked at a few other pools (none compared), waited tables at about every half decent restaurant in town, was the night shift cashier at a gas station, even worked as a security guard. (lol, right?) No matter what I did, I always had my eyes on something more. Something big … REALLY big. I tried to take classes at a local community college for a couple semesters, but I didn’t have a goal, and without a goal, there is no motivation. I will go back to school when the time is right, but this career I have my heart set on is a now or never kinda deal. I have to grab it while I can. I’ve always wanted to be the one that people looked up to. I'm a leader(as they said in school), always have been. (I attended the HOBY leadership seminar in high school as well)
I want to be the girl my dad would have wanted me to be. (He passed away before I was born, all I have is the stories told by loved ones) My mother and grandma think I'm an angel. I am far from it, but I'm their* angel. The only thing left of my dad, his legacy. How do you live up to that?! I struggled for years over it, but then I took a stand. I can* be all they see in me. I can do anything I set my mind to. I will be successful and make them proud. I am a very motivated person (if you haven't noticed). If I want something, I set my mind to it, work for it, and eventually get it. With a brother and a single mom working full time just to get by week to week, no assistance of course, we always made a few bucks too much for that. Bought my first car for $1,200 that I made by fall. Paid my insurance, for all the gas & shopping, and went half with mom for school clothes. Still do exactly that (well, with a few other bills now and necessities now) I'm independent, just as Momma raised me to be. I have morals, values, and will always stick to them.
