About Me

Thanks for stopping by...

My background's in fine art as well as photography so I draw from a massive variety of inspirations for my work that include: Tim Walker, David LaChapelle, Steven Meisel, Guido Argentini, Martin Parr (managed to interview him at home for my thesis research!!!), Bruce Davidson, William Eggleston, Ralf Steadman, Patrick Caulfield, julian opie, Viktor & rolf, Chanel (vintage) and Mcqueen (this list could go on for an eternity!).

I've shot as Photoforms for the past ten years and the name change is there because, well, as it states, time to focus on new horizons!! My dark n' contrasty style's always drawn the ink, derelict, metal thang, so I cut my teeth shooting models at locations with the alt vibe (back then with lesser skills and equipment ashamedly). I'm now interested in branching out a bit and looking to start laying down some beauty, portraiture, fashion and boudoir imagery with an altogether softer edge... although the dark beauty aesthetic is never going to leave me totally, I know this... have accepted it, and made my peace with it! lol

I've put together a massive library of concept ideas to work from that I'm happy to send on over to those wishing to work together, although I'm more than happy to work on a collaborative basis should you have any specific ideas yourselves... so please feel free to drop me a message and a link to any thoughts you may have.

Oh, the part-time thing... After finishing my MA I've been working so that my wife can study for her PHD. As a corporate photographer (yes, the irony is there if you look lol) the work's a bit too sporadic to cover both living and educational expenses, and TBH... I've never held any interest in wedding photography, so only really get time to shoot once a month. I hope that the explanation clears that one up, and nope... not just a guy with a camera but a photographer, designer and an exhibiting artist with a heart of gold... and a cutting shrewd mind for business!!

Anyway, cool... here's to New_Horizons eh!!!

Big smile
