Aimee,
I have to be honest in saying that your photos stun me. The way you use yourself as a form to experiment with and a movable structure to design around and do so with such considered elegance goes way beyond fashion and into some other zone.
This zone is all yours - it's a beautiful one in a classical way, but not without humor, irony or references to literature and well-known artists and photographers. You do so gently, in a feminine way and even the few references to violence are playful. And consequently I love how your brain is more present in your work than your libido.
I can only imagine how great it would be to collaborate with you even though I come from a different place: I've done my best work with moving pictures. You have done so with stills and with so much personality and charm that I smile looking at your work.
I feel that some complex emotional expressions remain hidden and protected in your work and somehow are begging to come forward. I could elaborate on this but will save it to discuss over a cup of coffee. So please consider this an invitation as much as gushing praise. You are one of a kind and would be great to have on film at 24 frames per second or to meet over a simple cup of joe.
