Hi sup! My name's Elle and I'm seeking to expand my experiences, knowledge and skill to grow and prosper as both a model and a photographer, and this looks like a pretty good place to be at
Currently studying Adv. Diploma of Photography (Commercial), I'm into Fashionista/Conceptual/Glammour/Fairytale/Burlesque shots and all that fun canvas stuff
I do NOT model nudes.
A little about myself..? Uhhmm.. The thought of food makes me excitable, I never like to eat just one thing per sitting, instead opening everything I can find that I will most likely forget about by the next day xD om nom nom delicious food xD
I like to talk about things that make one think, philosophizing about this that and the other. Though I have reservations about my abilities to express what I'm thinking along the lines of the subject; just being around discussions like those with people who are far more intricate than myself makes a part of me glow inside. Something about the environment of thinkers, just gets me... Awww lol.

It took that long to get my message. Slack girl. But then again you are working hard on your course. I do hope it is going well.
I would love to get together again and take photos as well as help you out with your photo idea for your course on trying to replicate a well known piece.
On the subject of Stock photos, I'd prefer not as it is a bit of a hassle trying to explain to a person that wants to use the photos why some of the photos are allowed to be used and others are not (in relations to photos used as stock in same photoshoot as photos used in portfolio). I'd prefer to steer clear of that as a deterent of people using my photos all together due to the amount of hassles I have had in yoinked photos. That photoshoot was not very pre-arranged and if I wasn't so anal due to lessons learned through mistakes and misfortunes I would let you use them. Alas due to someone already using my photos in marketing avenue and myself losing buttloads of money I am keeping a tight reign on usage.

Haha thanks! :D Congrats to you too :) Thats the same course that Olivia (exposed photography) is doing! I hope you guys like it. Yea once you get the skills you can apply them to anything.. and I'm pretty sure they wouldn't mind you being a bit creative with your work :P
I had no idea that light square had photography facilities until I went to the open day. The course is actually called a bachelor of visual arts and applied design, but you can choose to specialise in a particular area. I'm probably going to go to Uni though.. I have to decide by tomorrow >_<
And yea I'd love to go on a shoot! I've just got to refine an idea.. haha. I have partial ideas in my head, but nothing too organised just yet. I'm not a fantastic model or anything, but I can model for you in return if you like? :)

I applied for courses at Light Square TAFE and UniSA.. they were both a Bachelor of visual arts specialising in photography. I wanted to do an art based photography course instead of a commercial based one.. even though I want to be a fashion photographer, I want to get into more creative stuff :)
I got in to both courses though.. and I don't know which one to go to =S

And yea I know that one with the newspaper background isn't very well lit.. I was meant to be using 2 studio lights but the fuse broke in one of them before I started, so the light was very dim.. especially for a black dress >_<

You know Ive noticed only recently all my pics are of my right side. Its prob cause my fringe used to own the left side of my face and any shots were pointless from that side unles you wanted me to look like a yhetti!

aah, well i think you should ring them first.
i rang them about where i gotta send my portfolio and they said that you dont have to send it in.
a man that worked there said that after i applied online for the course, the webpage will give me a code.then i have to ring up and book a TABS test (which is basic knowledge, u know maths english,etc).mines in november.
and if you go well with the test,
they call you up and organise a meeting, and THEN you bring your portfolio.
i dont know why, but they changed everything from last year...to much harder!
u may already know that.but they said a lot of people dont cos they printed it differently in the TAFE book.
are you doing year12 atm?
