Shemekia Yvette Kelsey is an original Georgia Peach – born in Macon, GA 1982. She was raised in Milledgeville, GA – a small town just east of Macon and about 2 hours southeast of Atlanta. Shemekia is the youngest of four siblings who are all at least 20 years her senior; she was the family’s little princess. Her energetic personality, striking beauty, and talent for entertaining landed her a place in an R & B girl group during her teenage years; unfortunately, the group’s popularity never made it past local audiences in and around Macon, GA. Shemekia gave up her dream as an entertainer shortly after high school. She attended Georgia Medical Institute in Atlanta, GA where she attained her certification in Massage Therapy. Shemekia married her husband, Gary Frazier, in 2004 and moved away from GA to Little Rock Air Force Base, where he was stationed. While in Little Rock, Shemekia birthed three children over the span of six years – two boys and a girl. In April 2010, Shemekia and Gary returned to Atlanta. Upon their return, Shemekia expressed her life long dream of pursuing an acting and modeling career to her husband. With his full support, she began applying to numerous modeling and acting agencies. Eventually, Shemekia landed a part in an independent film “Chains 2”, by Timothy Marks. She was also casted in a new sitcom; however, the project was postponed. In the summer of 2011, Shemekia and her husband received news of another baby on the way. Shemekia had to postpone her dream once again; however, during her pregnancy, she was contacted and casted as an extra in J-Lo’s and Chris Rock’s “What To Expect When Expecting”. The new baby was born Feb 2012. As a sexy mother of four, Shemekia has maintained her beautiful physique and is currently working with a previous independent filmmaker on several projects; she is also pursuing more acting and modeling positions as well.
