I got my first camera when I was sixteen, and don't really remember a time after that when I wasn't taking pictures.  (When money was tight, I turned off my phone and just used a neighbor's, but I didn't stop taking pictures, if that tells you anything.)  In 2009 it finally occurred to me that people actually get paid money for taking photos, and I haven't looked back since.

These days I'm mainly shooting boudoir—I'll shoot other things if people ask me nicely, but boudoir is where my heart is—and I specialize in clients who aren't comfortable with themselves (especially when a camera is pointed at them).  Because of that, I tend to look for very new models (who are still getting used to being shot professionally) when I need models for anything related to my own website.  (I'm more than happy to set up playdates with more experienced models, of course—it's fun to stretch my creative muscles with someone who has been doing this for awhile, especially if she has ideas of her own!)

I'm very easy-going, but I AM a stickler for good communication.  I understand that most people don't check their email as often as I do, but you want to work with me, I DO expect some sort of response IN A TIMELY MANNER.  Even if you're just telling me, "I need to check my schedule/think about it/find a ride/whatever."  ANY response is better than none.

**If you don't make a habit of checking your email at least once a day, please let me know this in your first or second email.**  (An alternate method of contact would also be greatly appreciated, especially if we're trying to schedule a shoot.) 

I have last-minute opportunities pop up on a fairly regular basis, and I keep a list of models and stylists who respond quickly.  (Guess who I use most frequently, even when it isn't a last-minute shoot?)

Also, here on MM, if you read my message and need time to think about something, please take a moment to message me and tell me that you're thinking about it, so I don't see "Message Read" and think that you aren't interested because you haven't responded.

Everyone I shoot will receive at least 15 digital images per hour of shoot time.  If you would like physical copies I can provide you with a print release and recommend labs that will give you good results.
