My name is James Grant;
I strive to go beyond a single dimension and capture my subjects' story, in addition to creating excellent images. I enjoy focusing on the acutely organic elements of my subjects.

I'm hoping to expand my repertoire and portfolio, as I primarily did concert and band portrait photography during my time in Los Angeles. Lately, I've been starting to study motion reels and hope to expand my repertoire in cinematography.

I do shoot photographs, although I insist on using only 35mm film... I can't get over the softness and authenticity of film.
