Additional musical performances include: George M, Carousel, Annie Get Your Gun, The Music Man, On A Clear Day You Can See Forever, La Cage aux Folles. Dana appeared at Venice Little Theatre in the Florida Community Theatre premiere production of Jekyll & Hyde, and as June Sanders in Smoke on the Mountain, also at VLT. Dana is very proud of her first large-scale choreographic project the zany, Marx brothers' musical, Animal Crackers which opened on October 1, 2002; she also performed the principal role Arabella Rittenhouse. Dana performed in the Will Rogers Follies as Ziegfeld's Favorite. In 2003, Dana was Ms. Weston/ Lola u/s in Damn Yankees, and Kiss Me Kate as Bianca/Lois Lane at the Golden Apple Dinner Theater. Most recently Dana returned from the MS Pride of Aloha where she spent 7 months circling the Hawaiian Islands, dancing & singing in her microcosm on the Pacific. After leaving Sarasota as an entrepreneur in the graphic, performing, & social arts in October 2006, she staked her claim in the pleasure isle of Manhattan. She has traversed the boroughs, uptown & down currently residing in Brooklyn. Dana works in a global consulting firm facilitating the collaboration of powerful minds across the world by utilizing her superior time/spacial skills. Commercially, she worked on the Columbia Pictures film Julie and Julia due for release in 2009 starring Meryl Streep. In the arts community, she is building her network in the performing arts with various freelance projects including Andrey Bartenev's Shaking Angles at the National Arts Club, Creative Time: Democracy in America; Rachel Mason/Avanza! at the Park Avenue Armory, and Mimi Garrard's dance for film series on MNN 56. She also physically advocates her peer's local endeavors such as Chez Bushwick and Moving Theater. More widely, she is expanding her identity through social cultural activism promoting tolerance, growth efficiency and understanding through experiencing the arts & sciences while questioning blindly followed standards of the norm. Dana plans to remain in NY and travel to Europe within the decade, specifically Berlin!
