Primarily I make dichromate gum print photographs. This is a historical photo process that involves painting pigments on water color paper in layers. The process is very involved, but the final product is a moody, atmospheric print that looks like a cross between a watercolor and a photograph. I am interested in creating ambiguous moods and situations that suggest an emotional moment. I also do some conventional photography; portraiture and wedding. I want to involve more people in my gum prints, as currently they are mostly landscapes and still-lifes.
