Hi,
I have been making sculptures using actual models to create molds from which the sculptures are rendered. I have pieces displayed at local sculpture galleries and am pleased to say I'm able to sell pieces from time to time. It is imperative for my work to have models, so I am very hopeful that Model Mayhem will help me connect with different types of models locally who are a little on the adventurous side.
If you are at all yoga inclined, and can hold some basic poses, Im interested in hearing from you.

I like to think that I offer an opportunity to a large cross-section of models. What I do requires a certain amount of trust so once I have used a model I like to try and use them again and again as they know what to expect and this makes it much easier. I do custom pieces for clients from time to time.
Being a good figure model for a sculptor or a painter is harder work than one might think and I offer a low stress environment where experience can be gained but this is not a cake walk.
If you are an aspiring model and would like to work with a sculptor who is looking to hire new talent, help the model gain exposure and experience, or if you are a SUPER model who would like to truly immortalize that body before it goes south... lets give it a go! I have a new- FANTASTIC studio that I am working in, at last I have room to be working on several projects simultaneously- so if some of the pics on my port look a bit dated, they are but I have left them up so that you as a model will understand the process a bit better and can be more comfortable with how I work.

I am ESPECIALLY interested in working with models who have very unique features, things that are rare... extra toes and fingers, pronounced scars, one leg much shorter than the other... you get the idea, things that make us "individuals".
Also, if you have short hair, very short hair or no hair at all that bumps you to the top of the list of people I'd love to collaborate with so take the plunge and contact me before it grows out!
