Who I am...
I specialize in mostly sport/action/movement/lifestyle/editorial now. I am always looking to add to my book, so if you are interested, and you have a great idea, feel free to drop me a quick hello! I am always open to hear someone's thoughts whatever they may be. :-) If I send you a friend request, odds are that I would like to work with you sometime. I will be tearing apart my book after the first of the year...out with the old..in with the new! I am a freelance photographer based out of Portland Oregon having worked for companies such as Nike, Adidas, Yamaha, and Honda. What I do... I DO shoot Product... I DO shoot Athletics... I DO shoot Glamor on occasion... I WILL take a stab at fashion... I DO NOT shoot nudes...I have nothing against it, it just isn't my thing... I DO NOT shoot belts/caution tape used as a bra... I DO NOT shoot men/women with guns/swords... I DO NOT shoot men/women with snakes... How I do it... This is my lively-hood. I am straight forward, and no...I don't know everything. I learn something new on every job I have done. I love what I do and I have fun doing it. I expect any crew that I put together for a shoot to be two things: extremely friendly and extremely professional from start to finish. I don't want any bad JU-JU going on while we are working. Is no fun! However it can be fun watching someone pulling their hair out, as long as it isn't me...haha. The day it becomes no fun, then it becomes a "job" and it is time to do something else instead. Maybe underwater basket weaving? We are supposed to love what we do, right? My thoughts on TFP vs. Paid Work... I do very little TFP outside my casting calls. My rates differ from project to project. Let's face it, bigger clients...bigger budgets, smaller clients...smaller budgets. It all depends on my work load at the time. If there is a budget for a personal project, I will say so in the casting call. 90% of my casting calls are for personal projects or portfolio work. I try to come up with some kind of compensation for all those that choose to become involved in a casting call project outside of the normal "you get images as payment." MUA's/Hair Stylists always get at least a kit fee since they are using up physical product. Remember the days of film? "You pay for the film and developing and I'll shoot it." Same thing here. If I like an idea, I will consider TFP on a case by case basis. I understand we all need to get paid, and everyone's time is valuable. Collaborations are just that. We all give something to create a great final product. Then we call become rich and famous and live happily ever after..haha. If I contact you about a shot, then by all means, shoot me your rate. That is only fair! Please do not contact me saying "I'd love to work with you....here are my rates"....I've had that happen a lot. I am more then flattered when I receive that kind of praise, but it can be insulting at the same time. Where I am going... As far as this life and my ability will take me! Always scheming new ideas. Some big, some small, and some my be impossible. You don't try, you don't know. Always looking to meet new faces, go new places, new ideas...let's see what we can put together! Again, thank you for taking the time to check out my page. God Bless! Verified Credits (0)Worked with Christopher Lee? Share your experience and become verified! Add CreditsCredit Notes
