Images that manage to capture this have a human value with universal appeal. As a people, we love story-telling. Our recording of history is a form of this, as are the myriad of other media forms that essentially carry on this practice. When I am behind the camera, I consider myself to be on the fleeting team whose brief mission is to produce a graphical insight into the interesting person(s) in front of the camera.
