About Me

I'm a pro photographer and hobbying model with experience on many busy sets. I build portfolios and concepts for both myself and the subjects I work with.

I am college educated and also a talented pianist. I have taken proper coursework in photography, underwater photography, video/editing and post processing in both areas. I worked out of Firehouse Studios in Lambertville, Josh Black Studios in West Philadelphia and other various locations. I currently work out of my riverfront home on the water in Bristol.

I typically run three set shoots, make-up, set planning and posing. I expect nothing more than a professional demeanor from the subjects I choose to work with.

I have exceptional experience with ballet, dance, modern, fashion, jewelry, suicide and most general stock needed for submissions. Movement and motion is something I particularly enjoy capturing.

All RAW format in hi-res digital. Each shoot is catered to the subjects interests whether, TFP or compensated. RAW digital copies received upon close of the set.

I accept and respond to all incoming requests or questions. I enjoy working and sharing experiences with other photographers as well.

I look for those who are easy to work with and are open to the psychology and social technique that are helpful in finding a subjects visual array. Evoking true and natural purity of emotion uniquely found within each subject is a forte and many times, imperative.

Most shoots are exploratory, relaxed and calm with good direction and a journeyed experience in a climate controlled room. Respect, comfort level, feedback, questions, and frequently monitoring shots with the subject are employed. I will encourage newbies to trust their convictions and will work to find and reveal the potential that can be drawn from your projections. Somtimes what we think and feel are not what is conveyed. Those who are not quite in tune with this can learn through practice in a mirror. But some expression can only be drawn from the steady conversational topics that take place during the shoot. Many surprises can and usually will be found in doing this.

Newbies or inexperienced, I guide an easy to follow framework in coaching the set. Please address your comfort levels if we communicate either over the phone or email.

Time, weight, space, flow, geometry and color. Wide and macro and finding stories in texture. Plenty of pretty faces out there, but what do think about when being shot? Does your mind wander? Are you just doing a repetitive routine? Do you think of something specific. How do you feel? Good things to think about for those of you who are just starting to develop your core.

Stock shoots and outdoor scenes as well.

I typically book Saturday or Sunday afternoons, some weeknights for single set. My scope involves upper-echelon fashion models (like QVC) to beginners escorted by mom for work in NY. All ages shot. Those who are not spring chickens I find to be the most interesting shoots. Please contribute your thoughts ideas while shooting so synesthesia can keep things moving. I am open to most concepts. Willing to find the shots that draws upon the best of your abilities.

Please feel free to email. I return calls and will verify at 215-287-4958. I am also at [email protected] for requests and submissions. Located in Tullytown to be exact. Beautiful studio space to work out of as well.
