My name is Nicola.

I am a small business milliner; I make classic, sexy n sassy and extreme fascinators for all occasions from burlesque to cocktail to the races and weddings.

I like to keep my entire collection full of one offs & love working with customers to create something personal to them, a creation to match a dress, outfit or shoes. A piece that will show their personality, be it a fun / colorful piece, something over the top and extravagant or a sexy number.

I enjoy sourcing fabrics, feathers & beads from different places, from antique stores in Sydney, to department stores in Tokyo, to second hand shops in Wellington. I look for things I can use everywhere I go & love finding those little treasures that make the piece and pull all the elements together.

Creating amazing imagery is one of my passions and I’m looking to work with equally passionate models, photographers, hair stylists and make up artists, to create some stunning imagery for our portfolios.

I Draw my inspiration from photographers such as: Dan Santoni, Eyeworks and LaraJade, and from milliners : Philip Treacy, Stephen Jones and Zandra Eastwood. Designers: Alexander McQueen, John Galliano and Christian Lacroix.
