Who am I?

I began my journey into the entertainment industry, in 1998 in classical and musical theatre performing lead, supporting and extra roles in various musicals, with The Schonauer Speech and Drama School and graduated from The South African School of Live Performance and Motion Picture Medium (A.F.D.A) with a B.A of Live Performance in 2003.

Whilst at A.F.D.A and as a post-graduate I performed in various short films, theatre productions and dance productions. I was also fortunate to do directing, production designing, stage managing, casino hosting and presenting car and casino game draws (Privé), voice over work, teaching and coaching. In 2005 I took a break from the entertainment industry and in 2008 I returned and moved into performance art and alternative modelling and I'm now building my way up again using the skills I have obtained.

Over the years I have achieved experience as an actress, dancer, writer (script, song and poetry), voice over artist, musician, hostess/MC, production designer, stage manager, stage hand, wardrobe assistant, stage makeup artist, assistant booking agent, assistant entertainment consultant, P.A, acting coach and drama teacher.

I live for alternative and fetish modelling and as well as entertaining, however I do enjoy other genres of modelling as well and try to get a break from my comfort zone by applying myself to other genres. I have a passion and obsession for dark, sinister, erotic, edgy, twisted (in a good way :-) ) and alternative modelling and photography.

I enjoy pushing the barriers of the norm and love to experiment with edgy and sinister ideas and seeing the results of creating binary codes. I am always open to working with togs that share my interests or that have very unique and interesting ideas. I am not on a mission to be famous, I do what I do because I love it, I live for it, the alternative and fetish scene is a part of my life style, a part of who I am.

I’m an artist, I want to be more than just another model in a picture. I define and redefine myself through it. I enjoy being a part of the creative process, and giving my input. I have got a lot to learn still and I will never stop learning. "Even the teacher is only a student, enriching other students" -Chinese proverb


Why do I want to model?

Sure everyone wants world peace, not only models, so I am not going to bore you with the usual given. The reason I have directed a part of my future into the world of modelling, my main focus being alternative/fetish, is that I believe beauty comes in all shapes and sizes, however I do believe there are limits and a point where people can be unattractive and poorly presented, which is a personal opinion of taste I guess. I personally as a alternative model would like to inspire women to believe in there own beauty on the inside and outside and stop deeming that their beauty is not valued; sure I am no FHM super model, but I do represent I certain type of woman and body type. I also love creating art that makes people think and question and modelling is another medium of art. Ultimately, I love modelling!!!


Why do I think you should consider working with me?

Although I have had no formal model training, I have gained on hands experience and have learnt from some of the best photographers and models I have worked with since end of 2008. My lack of formal model training has given me the ability to discover and define my own non conventional style and methods; making me refreshing and very fun to work with. My training in acting has given me the skills to truly characterize my modelling work and bring across great intensity and being able to capture true emotions. I am without doubt a professional and creative in what ever task is at hand.
I conduct myself professionally, I understand the importance of being punctual and I am self-efficient. I am intellectual, self-motivated, driven, ambitious and learn very quickly. I have a confident, honest, humble, bubbly and friendly nature. I care and feel deeply for the human race and love meeting and working with old and new inspiring artists of the many mediums in the entertainment industry.

I am capable of taking good direction, but also capable of directing myself and being creative with my posing. My goal is to collaborate all my talents into one common vessel and create art that speaks, profound art.

We all begin somewhere. I hope that you might enjoy my work and the work of the photographers that I work with. If by any chance I am recognised for my creativity, I will be humbly grateful and honoured. I will do my utmost best to deliver what I have stated here. Who knows we might meet one another on our personal journeys in this industry.
