I've been shooting pics since I was 15 years old. Through high school I worked on the yearbook club and became fascinated with how the right angle/lighting could make the geekiest of girls look like super models! I gave up the idea of becoming a professional photographer to pursue a degree in IT. Although, photography continued as a hobby as my kids were born and throughout special moments. Several friends and friends of friends asked me to photograph weddings, sporting events, and parties for them. I've made friends with a number of professional photographers and showed them my work. They insisted that I had a great eye and it would be a waste of a God given gift if I didn't go pro. In 2006 I decided it was time to upgrade my camera to a professional Nikon, invest in mobile studio equipment, and launch KPW Photography. Since then I've had the pleasure of working with models, brides/grooms, resorts and restaurants. I love sharing my talents with others and capturing their intrinsic beauty!
