From August 29th to December 10th I'll be in St. Augustine! I look forward to meeting awesome people from the area as well as Jacksonville and Fernandina!

Hi! I'm Bonhomie, or Julie, if you prefer.

I'm a college student with a penchant for photography. I've been behind a camera for about six years, mostly taking shots of nature and animals. I finally figured I'm ready to try my hand at photographing people. I've had the good fortune to have good friends who were willing to pose for me and humor my crazy ideas, no matter how bad they were, but I'm looking to work with people of different walks of life, with unique looks and ideas.

Since this a hobby as of right now, I'm only looking at TFB things right now. If I'm expected to travel a ways, though, I might ask for gas money. I look forward to working with people who have all kinds of experience. I love being a student and I love learning new things, and I always expect to learn much from my models (and anyone else who would be kind enough to want to work with me). I consider myself outgoing, fun, as well as slightly crazy. I chose the word 'bonhomie' because it means friendliness, and I'm a really friendly person.

I love abandoned buildings and have the good fortune of having access to several close by. I am also a fan of natural lighting (although I do have a few meager skills in photoshop). I try to plan everything ahead of time and I always have a backup plan in case something goes wrong. Because it's so hot during Floridian summers, I totally bring gatorade, water bottles, and other drinks to outdoor shoots. I try to make every experience as pleasant as possible for the model(s) involved.

I don't consider myself really great when it comes to make-up, but I do enjoy doodling and have some body paint I've been dying to use. Grungy and edgy are styles I love, and I also adore anything bizarre. Pictures that make absolutely no sense whatsoever are a favorite of mine. Conversely, I also have a weakness for any picture with a story or theme to it. I'm very flexible with my own ideas and hope to meet models with their own input as well. It's fun to see things from the flip side of the camera!
