I am always trying to create imaginative images which capture something different or tell a story. At the same time I recognise, that if I am to financially break even, I need to produce some commercial images that have a more general appeal. To acheive this, I prefer models that are patient and genuinely wish to work on unusual projects. I am also very open to work with new models and endeavour to create a comfortable atmosphere in which to work.

Most of my ideas for images involve exterior locations. As such, the natural environment provides the backdrop and lighting for the majority of my work. This inevitably leads to down time due to weather and/or spontaneous ideas for poses and images. Some of my best work has been as a result of this spontaneity but it can be frustrating when the sun is leaving or the water is not perfect.

I very rarely use photoshop to touch up an image or "airbrush" a models skin. I am more interested in "capturing the moment" or "creating the scene" than "painting pictures" in photoshop.

Since the majority of my model work involves some form of nudity, I take security very seriously and use locations that are relatively secluded and/or where nudity is considered "normal" so as to avoid any unnecessary or unwanted attention.
