Hello my name is Mary L. Carter.

I am just getting back in front of the lens after going behind it to become a photographer years ago.

I've always had a love for modeling and have been in front of the lens since the age of 4 and at 11 years old my mother married a photographer.

Then my love for photography began but never pursued it... In 2006 After having double knee surgery and getting sick with diabetes I gained almost 60 lbs and lost all my looks and hope.

Living over 15 years as a fitness competitor, professional dancer, model, actress, stunt woman, video games motion capture model, etc. always a size 0 – 3. I had lost everything I thought was important in life and the industry… I was encouraged to start a career behind the lens since I had lived so long in front of it. My friends were always asking me to shoot them after I had brought my camera on our vacations or nights out. Long story short… I have since grown into a deeper human being and have recently lost 42 lbs of the 60 lbs I had gained due to health issues and injury since getting on my insulin medicine Halloween of 2008.

I am now Very Zen and Laid Back with No More Ego...So… With this new me... I’m now willing to step in front of the lens again for anything artistic, creative, edgy, etc. (NO NUDES)

I am a photographer first with a complete professional studio but if we both have the right idea, time, and creative space to develop art… Let’s work together
