CAN ANYBODY REMEMBER WHEN THE TIMES WERE NOT HARD AND MONEY NOT SCARCE?

There have been times where I've been contacted with "What are your rates?" While this is incredibly appreciated and I love that you've expressed interest me, I'm always going to counter with "What is your budget?". Why, you may ask. Well, being an active member of the forums, I've seen more than enough models asking how to set their rates, and more than enough photographers griping about how models seem to pull their rates out of thin air. Allow me to enlighten you with a little secret- Many of us do. *GASP*.Well, here is a model who does not pull her rates out of thin air. I take into consideration the following:

Your budget
What I may have to purchase for the shoot
What you may have to purchase for the shoot
Who we may have to pay for the shoot
How far I'll need to drive for the shoot, in correlation with rising gas prices
What we are shooting (It's VERY rare I do trade for nudes)
How long we will be shooting for
Quality of your work in your portfolio and whether it may or may not benefit mine.

Now that we've cleared the air on that...

LET'S TALK ABOUT TRADE, BABY

I do it, as long as both parties are absolutely, positively, fairly benefiting from it, which is rare.

There is rarely any correlation between my trade shoots. Trade is subjective and looked at on a case by case basis. When we trade, I will be worth your time, and I certainly expect you to be worth mine.

I'm the kind of person who works just as hard whether she's making $1 a day or $1,000,000 a day. This is a mere fact. Hard-working and dedication is in my blood.

I very rarely trade nudes.
