About Me

Hi everyone,

I was born in Taipei, Taiwan and moved to South Carolina when I was a baby. I speak Mandarin fluently and spent many wonderful summers in Taiwan learning Mandarin, Chinese painting, and hanging out with my grandparents.

Now I'm (somewhat) settled in the beautiful SF/Bay Area, by way of Los Angeles. smile I'm a teacher (high school English, baby!) and writer. My hobbies include working with kids, photography, writing, and reading (I'm a true model nerd). wink I've also been a teaching assistant in San Quentin's college program, and currently assist chefs in culinary courses in Berkeley while freelance writing -- and pursuing a variety of other hobbies!
