I love photography, and portraits in particular. It’s my joy to discover a life story etched into the palm of a hand, the hint of genius in the glisten of an eye, that tinge of mischief in a fleeting expression, or the secret mysteries suggested by the curves of a woman. I take photographs for the pure enjoyment of capturing the beauty in people, and it is truly more than skin deep.

After a substantial hiatus from MM, I think it is time to come back. For whatever reasons, many people in Western New York have been avoiding MM for some time. Groupthink was not the reason for my hiatus and I hope to meet many new co-conspirators here again.

My photography has evolved and my focus is now more artistic than it was before. Over the next few weeks I'll be replacing my portfolio with newer images that reflect that evolution.
