Welcome to my MM page my Name is Paul Malin and I'm a Bournemouth based photographer. I am strongly involved in my photography, and have being doing it for nearly four years now, i keep my camera with me 24/7 because i never know what i might see on my travels. I am not a professional photographer, but i apply my creative flair into all of my work.
My main field of photography is live event and nightlife photography, but i have recently expanded to focus more towards fashion and editorial work. I'm always looking to further expand my portfolio to improve my diversity and skill sets as a photographer, and though using MM i have been able to network with a greater variety of models, photographers, make up artists to achieve this. If you have any ideas for shoots i'm pretty much an open book when it comes to those areas and am willing to try anything if it will improve both mine and the subjects portfolios.
I am a social, energetic and engaging person in everyday life and these are all applied into my photography and on my shoots , i'm always up for a laugh when shooting so it doesn't feel like a job but i still take a professional approach to all my planning, work, and ideas for shoots to ensure the best possible outcomes. I feel its better to get to know my subjects im shooting prior to shoots so the atmosphere on shoots is more informal and stress free, that way everyone is relaxed and can have a good time producing some great work.

As I have just fully switched my photography set up from Nikon to Canon I'm looking to update my fashion portfolio over the next few weeks, so examples on at present represent shoots I've done with past equipment.

At the moment i am negotiable about paying for models but ideally looking for models on a TFP until I have established an up to date portfolio, so this would be a great time to collaborate on new and interesting shoot ideas to better strengthen everyone's portfolios.
