I am the owner of Facial Artistry. I have over 18 years experience in makeup design. My business has expanded to include fantasy makeup, film work, FX and face painting for children's parties. Previously, I worked primarily in glamour and theater makeup.

I graduated from Patricia Stevens Career College in St. Louis, MO in 1986 majoring in Fashion and minoring in Customer Service and Modeling. I have been an independent image consultant with BeautiControl Cosmetics for over 18 years where I received my certification.

I am currently looking for photographers to do both paid and TF events. My face painting keeps me very busy, however, I have no real good pictures to show for it.

My goal is to improve my face painting/avant garde techniques to enhance my business. I'm always looking for models to try these new techniques on. I can paint my own face but believe me, it's so much easier and PRETTIER to paint someone else.

Photographers that I have worked with have commented on my professional standards and down to earth personality. I believe very strongly in good customer service. When I'm working with a model or a photographer I will do everything I can to create the look that they want. That means that I ask LOTS of questions. :)

When doing TF work, I will only accept those offers that provide pictures that could be shown to my pastor. I do not do full nudes and will only consider partial based upon the context of a paid shoot.

I have worked both on and off stage. This has allowed me to have a greater understanding of more aspects of the arts. Working as a makeup artist and stage crew has taught me how much work goes unrecognized behind stage. Working on the stage has taught me that the right costume, the right makeup and the right props can help the performer create an amazing character. I respect each individual for the gift they bring to a shoot or a show.
