My studio is in Bushwick (Brooklyn).
I am an visual artist, which is to say that although I am open to commercial work, these photos are geared more towards gallery display.
I shoot film and develop in the darkroom. I like it, that's why. I also love black and white Polaroids. I only do black and white at the moment because it is best for the dead-pan quality that I am looking for.
Costumes, prosthetics, makeup and props are great and used with love.
as far as pay goes, It's something that needs to be negotiated. When I have money than I will pay with money, otherwise some sort of trade needs to be worked out. I am also open to trading with signed prints. It's a matter of timing and negotiation.
Pretty much, I am looking for models in NY and Brooklyn. If you are a model just coming through than great! I do also travel a bit, but most of my work is done in the studio which is hardly mobile!
I include self portraiture in the photos. Nudity is almost always involved. I am not a creep and am not looking for a date or anything of the sort.
