About Me

Very serious and professional when necessary; often seem to be a very laid back, mellow, meditative loner sort (but never alone) harmony-trumps-all mediator while relaxing, but I'd only be trying to get a feel for the scene. Can dominate a room as strong Alpha type, or funny too, so open to many scenes. True persona lies somewhere outdoors. Quick to find a balance when working with others. Comfortable on stage, acting, music, debates…some film work too, and have been on both sides of a lens too. Comfortable in own skin, and don't freak if/when others are too; it's part of the human norm. As an aspiring model, I don't have the expected body. A lifelong habit of trying to go ever faster over snow, pavement, or dirt, and then falling. Rinse, rest and repeat. Result: a bod's that's a bit dented, not quite straight and leans to port a bit. No tats, no piercings, but a scar or two with stories to tell.
An artist all my life; have dabbled in all traditional media at one time or another. Pixels too. Mostly with middling results, but some recognition and the occasional sale. Even was a commercial artist-illustrator for a short while. Like to think that through it all that i developed a decent 'artistic eye' and a decent understanding of line, shape, balance, proportion, tone, density, saturation, color, brightness, contrast, white space and all the rest. There's lots, and I hardly know any of them well; many more not at all. A few years of PT modelling added a bit more understanding. Most startling was the realization of how much more is out there, and how little I knew of the little I knew. And from this grew an immense admiration for the artist, the model, the man behind the lens the people who understand them all who've a sensory awareness of the nuance a tiny adjustment can make; and together are what differentiates a great shot/scene/pose from the merely good.
I love modeling, and am keen to see where it goes. As such, I'm open and will try my best at every idea, TFP, as long as I'm learning. Small $$ stipends are kinda nice too…
