About Me

Beauty, like art, and love, is easier felt; rather than described. It is hard to find words, in any language, that suffice the feeling of being in the presence of true beauty. More than just being "pretty," it is something that touches one on a soulful level.

I am a completely self taught makeup artist that specializes in beauty and special FX. I've had the privilege of working on many weddings, photo shoots, run way shows, and special events. Art has been my passion since a very young age, I consider myself a lucky rarity, to not only have found my passion, but to actually be pursuing it as my career. In order to fully understand the look they are going for, communicating with my client is the most important skill. It is important to listen, as well as understand.

I started off in the beauty world, department stores, and makeup counters, for awesome lines like Chanel, and Nars. It is there that I have learned life long valuable tips and tricks. The feeling of making someone else feel good, and see their own TRUE beauty, is ... indescribable. To me, it is one of the most rewarding gifts life has given me. One of the greatest lesson's I've learned is to never stop learning. There is always more to explore, to expand your mind, to broaden yourself as a human being. I began looking at these cosmetics differently. Knowing there was something other-worldly that this tube of lipstick could create. Any artist loves a creative challenge. Just knowing that it was a makeup artist who could take already flawless Norma Jean Baker and create iconic Marilyn Monroe. At the same time, we've anxiously allowed them to invade our nightmares, with "Freddie Krueger," and watch as poor Linda Blair be exorcised of her demons. Once I saw from every end of the spectrum exactly what this tube of lipstick could do, I was enthralled. I'd never felt more complete within myself, and I knew this industry could fulfill me. I find that my opinion of beauty is consistently growing. I see and feel beauty in my gorgeous, glowing bride, at the same time, I can also see the beauty in Stan Winston's creation, "Predator." It's not the same at all, by any means ... just a little taste of beauty spiked with pain.

The possibilities are endless, there will always be something or somewhere else to see and do in this industry. That's why it will never get boring. I'd love to travel, depending on how far the location is, airport pick up and shelter may need to be required.
