About Me

I started this profile while studying at Emily Carr University in Vancouver, BC. It has become a useful outlet to meet and work with fantastic artists and models, and I feel lucky to have those opportunities.

Now I am here as a practicing photographer, in movement. I travel often between and across Canada, and Mexico. And this movement makes it hard to work with the faces I am used to.

I am a very conceptual artist with a work that ranges from humour, to pinup, to editorial fashion, and then some. My heart lies within the use of vintage props and wear, embracing the use of 'used' clothing. But most importantly I like to work on shoots with the intent to share and collaborate creatively. If this sounds like your kind of fun, (for relaxed fun shoots are my game), then message me here!

A NOTE: be sure to look at my website for work reference since I have been on the move and unable to change the work in my MM portfolio.

Thanks for the gander!

Hello! I'm looking at being in Vancouver and Victoria Oct 2nd-3rd! If you have any projects or would like to work together please message me!

I'm starting a Photographer's Meetup Workshop to help one another master fashion/fine arts photography. We'll discuss specific challenges, techniques, critiques, all we want to achieve. We can also network to pool equipment, props, and discuss projects as we find the appropriate partnership.

The goal here is not only to be better, but the best! I called around recently offering assistance for guidance and was met with closed minds and fear of competition - in reality I wonder how any Vancouver photographer truly believes him/herself to be a Herb Ritts or Richard Avedon to not warrant help or collaboration.

I hope you are progressive with your craft and take part in getting a photography group together. One which is free and practical and we can incorporate shoots as well. Be it three or fifty of us, we can still learn something from one another. Remember, we can learn a lot faster in a group setting than alone. We can also split off and each research a different subject and return with a team of info, saving you time and money. In the time it takes us to read a page, we'd have five answers on five subjects already.

Please show interest in the casting call on my page so everyone acquaint, or you can pm me if you're still in a conservative shy shell. ;P ;)
