Hi, My name is Melissa Genevieve Laurent-Dennis. My Label is self titled (Genevieve is my middle name and Laurent is my maiden name before I married and become Mrs Dennis :-)
Last year I released my first summer collection and it sold out within months!
My new Spring/Summer 2011/12 Collection will be released in September. It is a little more sophisticated than last years collection, I've used nothing but the best imported Silk chiffon, sequins and Swarovski crystals. I would say GLAMOUR is my inspiration.

Over the past few years I have felt inspired to be creative, I love life and I am happiest when I am being creative. It helps that my grandfather was a tailor and had his own fashion house, followed by my Dad who then worked for my grandfather as a tailor, pattern maker and dress maker. So I guess you could say its in my blood :-) I started my fashion label last year and I've got my first few fashion shows this year. There will be more to come in 2012 including the official launch party of Genevieve Laurent, located in Sydney. I will require at least 20 models for this major event and I am going to book them all directly from MM since MM has been so wonderful for me. I believe there are many gorgeous models out there who deserve to get their foot in the door. So I won't be hiring from an agency.
