About Me

My name is Andrew Nicora. I was born in Castro Valley, CA, and have lived throughout Washington and Northern and Southern, CA. Currently, I live Oxnard, California in the Oxnard Shores residence.

I am a photographer and the Creative Director for fotoMOJO, LLC, a fashion and lifestyle visual communications studio in San Francisco and Los Angeles (Mayhem #473385).

I was six years old when I saw Children of the Corn on VHS in my parents’ living room. I was utterly disappointed with the film; it was without depth and it was a feeble attempt to use suspense to evoke fear. It lacked a realistic portrait. It failed to reach its potential. I wanted to be scared – frozen in fear, and at six years old, that shouldn’t have been too difficult yet I thought it was funny.

I will be attending Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, and in the meantime I write and study various film makers. I’m available to provide assistance on projects – I’m looking to develop a network and to further develop my creative talents. I’m always interested in meeting new people in all areas of the industry - film makers, producers, actors, make-up artists, stylists, crew members, etc.

I’ve done some creative directing and photography work on photo shoots, and I’m always interested in working with photographers on TF* projects. I have acted on stage and I'm always interested in auditioning for roles. I may consider some modeling projects, but will not pose nude under any circumstances.

I’m mostly interested in networking with other creatives, working with photographers and film makers, and learning as much as I can about this passion I have.

Living Through The Horrors Of The Sea Of Dreams

everlasting journey into the sea of hope
descending into the depths of the dark unknown
not knowing who you are or where you've come from
expand your horizon to understand the truth of life
experiences pass by you like ripples in the water
farther you fall

fear creeping up your spine
try to understand the nightmares from beneath
a door opens up in your mind and
climb through it to escape the horrors you see
find a place to go and lay your head down and sleep
close your eyes and remember the person you used to be
your mind is filled with images of the people that would not leave
you dwell on the past, the people, and the sea
afraid of the person you would have become
as you sleep a light blinds your eyes and condemns you to the sun

eternal life in the sea of dreams
the images have been erased and here you are to stay
pull on through and find a different way
your desires have disappeared and your life begins a new day
