Born into a family of cosmetologists, Christen started as an assistant for her family in a high end salon at a very young age, was licensed in cosmetology by age 18 and was her own boss at age 25. Today Christen works as a freelance hairstylist specializing in extensions and bridal parties (but is also very experienced in various color techniques as well as the latest and most fashionable haircuts.)

In her early 20's Christen did her share of modeling and enjoyed it, but had a greater passion for doing hair. Now, at age 27, she enjoys being on the set of photoshoots, creating the desired look for the model as well as being able to show her artistic talent.
