I am a freelance Makeup artist from Wakefield, West Yorkshire. I have recently completed a foundation degree in Specialist make up Design at the University of Bedfordshire and as of September, I will be completing my BA honours degree in Special Effects make up at he University of Salford.
My passion through doing beauty therapy has led me onto doing this course as I am very experimental and always up to date with new trends in the industry. I have always had an interest in art, experimenting with colours, proportions and generally having fun with what I am creating, and realised in my early teens that it was something I wanted to pursue as a career. I believe that make-up is a form of self expression and not something to hide behind
The thing I love the most about make-up is that it can be applied in so many different ways and I am forever learning different techniques, what works best on me, and the people I’m applying it on.
