My name is Jeffrey Adams and I am a photographer living in Knoxville, and I run a photography company that mainly focuses on Portraiture. I graduated with a BFA in Digital Film Production, concentrating on Cinematography & Producing, have attended multiple professional workshops for both video & photography, and I am a member of both the PPA & NAPP.

I am a very serious and professional person, and only want to work with models that serious & professional. This is an art, and to get better at any art--you have to practice. I want to work with people that are serious about their craft, take it as seriously as I do, and strive to get better all the time. Having said that, and while professionals do indeed get paid for their time--I am a professional too. If you have a stated list of demands that need you for every shoot, remember that you are not in a union & MY time is valuable too. I do pay models for shoots, but I will meet with you first & do a test shoot--this is not debatable!! I do not have time for people who don't show up, don't show up on time, don't show up sober & ready to work (remember what Professional means before you try to get paid). The test shoot is really to make sure you are a serious professional person, looking to get better at your craft, that you have ideas for shots & want to be actively involved in the session, and that you can take direction & have some range--it's not a free practice session for me. Test sessions last less than 1 hr. The test session also lets you know that I am not interested in you for anything other than photography, and that I am not some internet-freak. Also, I DO NOT shoot nudes, partial nudes, implied nudes, porn, fetish/bondage, pin-up, swimsuits, or anything that may construed as a sexual image at anytime, ever. Sorry!!!! I have no moral stance against this type of work, the photographers & models that do it, I am just not interested in it.

For any photographers reading this, I will work as an Assistant/2nd shooter for any photographer who is a working professional, especially photographers doing commercial & wedding work. I recently returned from Maine Media College, where I took a course in Digital Wedding Photography from an amazing photographer, Steve Sint, a true professional that has written books on wedding photography that are used in schools & workshops to teach photography. I love Wedding Photography, and I am ALWAYS looking for an opportunity to improve & hone my skills. Although I am not in a union & I am willing to work for free for a test shoot/job, a working professional photographer knows that good Assistants do not work for free indefinitely.
