I have enjoyed taking photographs for as long as I can remember and had a Nikon D3000 with a standard 18 -55mm lens bought for me as a xmas present in 2009. I enrolled on a basic 10 week photography course in 2010 basically to learn how to use my camera and what makes a good picture. Looking back on my pictures reflects on the significant improvements made. I take my camera with me whenever I go out and enjoy looking for 'that picture'. I have added a 70 – 300mm sigma lens, flash light, tripod and remote to my kit I haven't chosen a particular field in which to try and focus on as I am still learning about different techniques and locations. I have done a small amount of studio and location work. My head is full of projects I'd like to work on this year, I've been invited to take the wedding photo's by a friend and I'd like to attend some sporting events. Joining Model Mayhem would give me the opportunity to share my pictures with other other enthusiasts and have them critically reviewed also link up with individuals / groups for joining projects.
