I am Lani Amuse- and when people read that, they often try and put an accent on Amuse.. but really its just a word, amuse. Pretty amusing, huh? I chose this name at a young age, it was not given to me. I have always been a creative person, and have always signed my work Amuse, or Lani Amuse. I have always been that person that people go to for creative inspiration; people have been calling me a Muse for as long as I can remember. My given first name is Lani, of Hawaiian origin, meaning sky or heaven - pronounced (LAH nee).

Anyway, one of my biggest dreams is to become a cinema makeup artist, and Hollywood, CA will always be HOME to me (even though I currently reside in Arizona). ***I do have makeup experience on all types of shoots (many photo shoots, music videos, student films, ect.), but mostly locally in AZ.*** I have always enjoyed the behind the scenes life, being a muse and all, but have also always been told that I should get in front of the camera. Or that I have a "unique look that not a lot of people can compete with". Or that I am exotic looking; people often ask "what are you?" referring to ethnicity, or try to guess and are often wrong.
I'll save you the torment, my father is German, and my beautiful mother is Mexican. I have fair skin like him, but with an olive tone that can tan very easily (never burns.. but I have diligently avoided the sun for most of my life in AZ). My eyes appear to be a very dark brown like hers, but actually, with bright lights on them, are more golden brown like his. *My hair..well I have no idea where it came from. I have more hair than anyone in my family, on both sides (and both sides have thick, curly hair). Actually, I probably have more hair on my head than anyone on the planet! And its thick and coarse, and not really curly, but not really a wave. Currently my hair is very short, and is ever changing.
I'm sure there are stylists out there that would love to get their hands on my hair to do some really creative shoots, and I'm very interested in hearing from you! I am also interested in playing around with some wigs, as I've always had a thing for them.
My body type is petite. I appear long and slender, at only 5'5". I am 26 years old, but often get mistaken for much younger.
I have an ever changing look, and look different from picture to picture or even day to day. My makeup skills and hair styles play a big roll with that. I hope this means I can be a versatile model.

As stated above, I have very little experience in front of a camera. The pictures currently on this page are just what I have to start with. I am looking forward to building my professional portfolio, and being a part of exciting and creative projects. Thank you for taking the time to read my bio.
