Chris Flanagan has always had a passion for the arts. When he was in grade school, art was his favorite subject. There was a time in his life when he thought animation was in his future. He dreamed of creating images that people would enjoy for years to come. In 2009, while on deployment to Afghanistan with the Army, Chris bought his first DSLR, and began taking pictures; trying to find an emotional outlet by creating beauty in his, otherwise, ugly surroundings. In doing this, he found a new passion… photography. Chris captures the emotion felt in a given moment in a single frame. His style varies from photo to photo, and day to day because emotions are so ever-changing.
