James C Lee is a Toronto based photographer who specializes in editorial, architecture, and portrait photography.

James studied art photography at the University of Saskatchewan in 1998. After the first year of the program he became the photo editor of the University student newspaper, “The Sheaf”. James had the opportunity to photograph various musicians, political and public figures, university faculty, athletes, and many other elements of campus life.

His favorite genres of photography include; sports, documentary, architecture, portraiture, fashion, and editorial photography.

He reveres the work of such greats including Henri Cartier-Bresson, Sebastiao Salgado, Heinz Klutmeier, Herb Ritts, Greg Gorman, Norman Jean Roy, and Sante D’Orazio.
