I am a self taught photographer who loves both landscape/ nature as well as the human form. I have been taking photos since I was about 15 years old but it has been put on the shelf for many years due to other responsibilities (job, Military, college, life)

Having moved to China, I have spent about a year slowly learning the style and taste of the locals in my area, refining my skills and now want to find talent to use to further my skills.

I hope to find models that are just starting out as well as those with some experience as I would prefer to trade time and talent. I have done this for some friends who have modeled as well as for some “clients” that are on the low end of the economic scale.

My goal here is to learn from other photographers, meet and work with models (established or new), build my portfolio and given the chance help someone else learn.

Eventually I want to grow as a business, have more exposure for my work and I'd be lying if I didn't say build greater confidence in my skills. Being self taught I think I am "Ok" but there is always something you wonder if it's pleasing to others not just yourself so in that I welcome any feedback, the good and the bad (as long as it's constructive).

I am still proficient at studio lighting and feel I have a good grasp of it and can produce some great shots that convey a feeling, meaning or just show someone in their best way.

Oh final note: I do require a model release on all sessions. It's a great way to protect you and I as well as remain professional in our dealings. I currently use the model release found on the Apple app store (photographers contract maker), please review it in advance if there are any questions.
