I first became interested in photography as a kid. My dad worked for Polaroid and would often bring home cameras for me to play with. In high school, my attention turned from photography to video when I became the video manager for my school's soccer team. I bought my first SLR while studying broadcasting production at Georgia Southern University and working part-time at a one-hour photo lab. While at GSU I also worked as a video manager for the athletic department filming games for the Men's and Women's soccer teams. In addition to my work on campus I covered high school and college sports for the local news station.

I have a degree in broadcasting production from Georgia Southern University. I've covered sports for two news networks and some of my editorial photographs have been published in Atlanta. My goal is to become a great photographer and retoucher. I joined this site to network with other passionate people, expand my portfolio, and raise my skill level as a photographer from enthusiast to professional.
