Hello. I'm Johnny Dispenza.

Thanks for all the great compliments on my work and the high interest I've received in working with me. I look forward to working with many of you. I was traveling for shoots for the last 3 months of 2012 so if I didn't get back with you during that time I was away, but I'm back now and happy 2013 everyone! Look forward to another great year of photography.

I have an experienced background in photography, special effects makeup, prop designing, illustration, and more. I've been working in the entertainment industry for over ten years mostly in California and just moved to IL area.

My goal, whether working myself or with like minded artists, is to create stunning and unique visions of the mind that others can admire. I enjoy bringing them to life through photography, film, theater or live in your face events. I enjoy creating a large spectrum of styles from bright and beautiful to dark and horrific and everything in between. One of my favorite things to do is bring fictional characters to life.

I am always looking for work and people to calibrate with so feel free to contact me. If it's a interesting concept I will consider TFP but only for my photography work.


Projects I'm currently working on and seeking collaboration on :
I am putting together special effects tutorials and I am looking for models for life casting and to allow me to show off other special effects projects on them. Modeling for life casting and special effects would be a paid modeling positions. I would prefer the model is under 5'8". The shorter the better as it requires less material to life cast a smaller model.

I'm also looking for models who would be interested in being part of my cosplay pinup photography project. This type of modeling would be TFP, but it would be a chance to add some very unique work to your modeling portfolio. I can use my knowledge of special effects and props to create very unique scenes. These scenes will be action packed scenes that should help to get us both noticed. I basically want to bring to life the comics and mangas in really beautiful photography. My pinup photography will involve sexy outfits from both anime and comic book genres.
