About Me
Hello, thanks for visiting my model mayhem.
My name is Jamila Loubriel. I am an internationally published, and agency represented model and classically trained actress, writer, and producer. I work for myself and my own art and modeling / acting are my primary sources of income and how I have provided for myself for the past 4 years. I have been incredibly lucky to have great clients and this has allowed me to continue to live my dream of modeling and acting that I have had since I was four years old when I starred in my first theater show, and every single show put on my by elementary school for the whole six years I was there. Knowing and having the freedom to purse my dream from such a young age has kept me motivated my entire life. I am 5'6, around 109 pounds, dress size 2, 32D, 24, 28 shoe size 8. I am a yogi, dancer, actress, and fine artist, and have trained in various types of yoga, Williamson movement technique (for actors), and as also studied varied forms of meditation and hypnotherapy. I was a student at Parsons, The New School for Design. I am currently taking a break to get back to my modeling and film and tv work. Being an multidisciplinary artist, I bring a very personal and emotional sense of myself to my work. As a writer, and actress, I am able to bring a narrative to my work and am able to emote easily on camera. Some of my commercial credits include German Magazine, MONOPOL - Magazin für Kunst und Leben (US equivalent is Monocle) and NY Mag, where I was interviewed for their Look Book in 2014.
