From the time she began impersonating "Wanda" & "Fire Marshall Bill" from In Living Color, Rikki Dee Nelson's father knew he had a young actor on his hands. From the moment her grandmother heard her voice, she knew she possessed a voice people would want to hear. And age 6, when she stepped on stage to perform "Stop in the Name of Love" as Diana Ross, Rikki Dee knew that the art of performing was her first and only true love.
She went on to attend Parkview Magnet for Performing Arts and was inducted into the Hall of Fame for her roles. It was during her tenure at the University of Ark- Pine Bluff where she was cast as in "The Hip Hop Project: an Insight into the Hip Hop Generation" that the touring ensemble sold out shows across the country- including The Arkansas Repertory Theatre & The Kennedy Center. Rikki Dee received astounding reviews for her original piece "Love's Sunglasses" & "(You're my) Alcohol.
Rikki Dee recently completed her 1st film “Les Infideles” which is set to release in Paris in February 2012.
In her spare time she enjoys cooking, karaoke, action & suspense movies & spending time with family, friends & her 4-year-old Pomeranian, Yoshi.
