Life is about experiences and people. One could rely on memory to relive those experiences. But having photos will gives us the visual we need to bring it all back. I first started taking pictures with a point and shoot canon digital camera. To be honest, most of those pictures were boring. Occasionally I'd get lucky with a photo that was unique in nature and composed under soft nature lighting. After practice as a photographer and some modeling, I have come to realize how rewarding each can be.

Before getting in front of or behind a camera, I like to ask: What message do we want to send?
Getting to know one another is what I feel to be a crucial step. It helps to decide what pose and what composition to use.

When traveling, I tend to go one of 2 routes as a photographer. iPhone or dslr (plus tripod). Each have their obvious pros and cons. But when it comes down to it; I don't let my equipment weight me down. It all depends on what I want to capture! For example, when I proposed to my fiancé under the northern lights, I needed a long exposure. But due to extreme temperatures, I had to bring several batteries and heat packs. Tell you more about that if we meet :)

So all in all, I'm a believer of trying new ideas. Consider me a jack of all trades. Not only do I enjoy being the photographer, but I love being in front of a camera. It's great when we can bounce ideas off each other and create something together.
