I'm an experienced artist: Photographer, Painter, Sculptor, but just beginning to work with photographing models and using artificial light, so I have a lot to learn. I'm interested in self-expression and in helping others express themselves.

Some of the areas I'm interested in exploring are:

The communication of complex ideas through visual symbolism

Capturing movement in still images - especially the movements of
Butoh and similar forms of modern dance.

Making beautiful photos that aren't pretty.

The fetishization of the body - Why is so bad so good?

The shock value of the nude form in places not expected- public spaces, city streets at dawn. parks, churches...

Getting beyond power relationships to sharing.

and, of course, developing my basic chops.
